PET Flakes Wastewater Treatment Project Design for Production System

 Section 1 Waste water Quantity

1.1 Wastewater Quantity: ≤15m³/h

    The type and quantity of the wastewater is as follows: Cleaning overflow wastewater≤15m³/h

1.2 Reference Indices for Wastewater Quality:

PH8-12  COD_cr≤2000mg/l  SS400mg/l  BOD ≤400600mg/l.

Cleaning overflow wastewater: PH: 8-12  COD_cr≤2000mg/l  SS400mg/l  BOD ≤400600mg/l

Section 2  Treatment Objectives

2.1 Wastewater Treatment Objectives

     After the wastewater treatment, under normal operation, the effluent quality should meet the Class I discharge standards required by the Wastewater Comprehensive Discharge Standard GB8978-1996, that is:

   PH: 6-9

   CODcr: ≤100mg/l

   SS: ≤70mg/l

   Oil: ≤5mg/l

2.2 Sludge Treatment Objectives

2.2.1 .The sludge generated from the wastewater treatment process is dewatered with the plate-and-frame filter press.

2.2.2 The sludge water content after dewatering is no more than ≤75%.

2.2.3  The  dewatered sludge is centralized before being transported outside for disposal as solid waste to prevent secondary pollution.
